SERVICES

Serving any and all births

Learn about my services

  • During the initial consultation, I will meet with you and your partner (if applicable) to discuss your needs, preferences, and any concerns you may have about your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. This meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine if I am a good fit to work for you. I will also review my services and pricing, answer any questions you may have, and discuss your expectations for the doula-client relationship.

  • Once you decide to hire me as your doula, I will provide personalized prenatal support and education tailored to your unique circumstances and goals. This support includes three birth preparation classes and 24/7 assistance over the phone. If you have questions or want to process something together, you can call or text me anytime. I am here to walk through the entire process with you and support you through all your decisions.

  • Around 36 weeks, we will meet to form your birth plan. We will discuss the role of a doula in labor and how each member of the birth team will help you. We will develop a plan for pain management and demonstrate labor techniques. If it is helpful, we will also review past birth experiences. The goal of this meeting is to make you feel empowered and prepared going into birth.

  • I will join you during active labor to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support for you and your partner. My goal is to ensure you have a positive and empowering birth experience. I will offer guidance on coping techniques, positioning, and relaxation, as well as advocate for your preferences and help facilitate communication between you and your healthcare providers.

  • After your baby is born, I will remain with you for 1-2 hours to assist with initial breastfeeding, bonding, and any immediate postpartum needs. I will ensure that you and your baby are comfortable and well-supported as you transition into this new phase of life.

  • I am virtually available to you the two weeks following the birth. I will also schedule a 1 hour postpartum visit, if needed, to provide additional support and resources. This visit may include breastfeeding assistance, emotional support, guidance on newborn care, and help with any concerns or questions that may arise during your postpartum period. My goal is to ensure that you feel confident and well-supported as you navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood.
